2 Recording of data

Upon successful registration via the app's registration form, a user account will be created and saved in the system with the login, contact and employer data you may have provided. When creating rents via the APP, the corresponding rental data is saved in the system. When sending a damage report via the APP, your entries regarding the damage that has occurred are saved. For your safety and to respond to any legal claims by third parties that may arise, the following data is saved when you create a rental:

• The actual times of removal and return of the eBike
• The GPS coordinates of the smartphone and the eBike on return
• Opening and closing of the electronic eBike lock
• The changes of the selected motor support level of the eBike
• At periodic intervals during the rental period:
•  
  • the GPS coordinates of the eBike
  • the battery charge level of the eBike
  • the mileage of the eBike
  • the motor support level

3 SSL Encryption

In order to guarantee the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption procedures that correspond to the current state of the art (TLS over HTTPS).

4 Storage of data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only save your personal data for as long as this is necessary for operation or as long as the saving periods provided by law require.

5 Your rights to information, correction, anonymisation, deletion and objection

You have the right to receive information about your personal saved data at any time. You also have the right to correction, blocking or, apart from the prescribed data storage for business purposes, deletion of your personal data. Please contact our data protection officer for this purpose. You can demand the deletion of your personal data, as well as the anonymisation of your traffic data, as long as these are not necessary for the ongoing execution of the contract and no legal archiving obligation exists. You can make changes or withdraw your consent by notifying us accordingly with effect for the future.

7 Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration from time to time so that it always meets the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when we introduce new services. The new data protection declaration then applies to future use.
